Managing pre-breeding replacement heifers is a critical component of a successful dairy operation. Replacement heifers need to receive adequate nutrition to reach their target weight and develop their reproductive systems properly. They require a daily allowance of approximately 2.2% of their body weight as dry matter for maintenance and growth.

24 Month Replacement Heifer

Specifically designed for the farmer looking for maximum performance and achievement of key milestones necessary to calve down from 22 to 26 months of age, this ration is specially
aimed at Dairy Replacement in the first winter feeding period to maximise growth , while avoiding over-conditioning.

Replacement Heifer Accelerator

High soya inclusion giving a 25% protein formulation, designed specifically for yearling replacements below desired target weight, i.e. less than 43 % of mature weight at December 1st. Ideally suited to balance low protein forages. When fed under correct nutritional advise stock can achieve live weight gain in excess of 1 kg/head/day.
