TWO FUSSY BLOKES PAINT ROLLERS

TWO FUSSY BLOKES PAINT ROLLERS

You might be embarking on a new painting project, or maybe you’ve heard all about this range and want to know more. Here is the low-down of Two Fussy Blokes paint rollers that are stocked at Bandon Co-op.

The founders of Two Fussy Blokes promise: We bring joy and satisfaction into PRO and DIY painting while doing it as sustainably as possible. For more information on the company and the founders check out their website https://twofussyblokes.com/

These are stocked in our Bandon & Kinsale stores, or you can order online (free delivery on all standard online orders of €50 or over).

These rollers have been widely welcomed by our customers and suit professional painters and DIY-ers alike. No wonder they are so popular with their ultra-smooth finishes at ultra-high speeds and with minimal splatter!

How do you know which one is right for your next paint job? Here is a breakdown of each type and what they are suitable for:

(Please note Nap refers to fabric thickness)

Microfibre mini roller (5mm nap)

The 5mm-nap microfibre mini rollers are best for painting the likes of furniture, kitchen units, window frames, and door frames — essentially anything small that requires a smooth, spray-like finish. The shortest nap in the mini-roller range, the 5mm is gaining huge popularity within upcycling communities and with well-known furniture painters. By enabling you to achieve a flawless finish without a spray gun, these 5mm rollers allow painters to transform old kitchens and furniture at seriously low cost.

Microfibre mini paint roller (10mm nap)

The 10mm-nap version of the mini microfibre roller. This particular roller holds a considerable amount of paint, washes out easily, and is ideal to cut walls and ceilings in conjunction with the 10mm-nap big rollers, as doing so will result in a uniform finish with no picture framing. Perfect for use on radiators, exterior weatherboards, and previously painted surfaces, these mini rollers eliminate the need to lay off your paint.

Mini-roller frame

Featuring a stylish wooden handle crafted for optimal comfort, the mini-roller frame swaps plastic for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly black finished frame. One of the more recent products (released in November 2020), it’s made and tested to rigorous standards in order to allow your mini rollers to spin freely and to make painting quick and easy.

Microfibre big paint roller (10mm nap)

The mid-sized nap in our microfibre range, the 10mm big rollers come in 230mm length. This is the most versatile of our rollers, offering excellent paint pick-up, finish, and release. Able to be used with all water-based paints, the 10mm-nap big roller is commonly used to achieve a top-of-the-line finish on medium- to large-sized surfaces such as walls and ceilings.

Available as singles

Before using any Two Fussy Blokes roller, we recommend rinsing and spinning with water. This’ll help you achieve the best finish right off the bat, and it’ll make the clean-up process easier as well.
