The sun shone on Bandon Co-op Retail & Garden Centres on Sat 25th March for the official opening of their newly-renovated retail store.
After an extensive planning project, renovations were completed in 2022. Simultaneously, renovations were also completed in their Enniskeane store.
The Bandon store extension and redesign accommodates a new Euronics electrical department along with increases in many of the product ranges such as paint, bathrooms, doors & flooring and gardening.

The grand opening event was truly a community affair. Many of the community were in attendance to support the opening of their local store and a great day of fun was had by all.
Three local charities were presented with donations by Bandon Co-op – Lisheens House, St Vincent de Paul & Irish Red Cross. Representatives from all charities attended to accept the donations.
Bandon Co-op were delighted to be joined for the official opening by Sean O’Donoghue, Cork Senior Hurling Captain and Eddie Goggin, local legend and beloved editor of The Opinion.
Everyone who went along on the day was treated to amazing offers and savings, free gifts, lunch and refreshments. In addition the kids in attendance enjoyed facepainting, balloons, magic tricks and visits from the Dulux dogs, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol!
Bandon Co-op credits the success of the recent store revamps to the professionalism of local construction companies and experts, support and guidance from Homevalue Hardware and Euronics, the vision of the management team and board of directors, and most importantly the hard work of the staff at their retail stores.
