We are proud members of Origin Green and together with our farming families and employees, we are on a journey to embed sustainability into our business and to facilitate sustainability on our farms and in our communities.

Our Commitment to a Greener Tomorrow
At Bandon Co-op we are continuously striving for a Greener Future with a number of initiatives across the business to help leave our community better than we found it. By the end of 2024 we had planted 24,500 trees on our farms and produced over 1 million kWh of green powered electricity from on-site solar panels.
We are committed to continuously improving soil and water quality through enabling more sustainable farming practices and facilitating delivery of the Farming Goals for the 2030 Climate Target Plan. We proudly use the Bandon Weir, a historic and much loved landmark in Bandon town, to continue the tradition of generating green electricity from our river.
Bandon Co-op has a history of collaborating with and supporting local environmental groups and these relationships continue to grow stronger as Climate Action becomes a growing challenge for all of our communities.
