Bandon Co-op has been producing and packing butter since 1907. Butter is unequalled as a cooking medium or ingredient in the way it imparts and enhances flavour in so many foods, both sweet and savoury. Bandon butter is renowned for its taste, flavour and functionality, for over a century.

Our factory today is modern and efficient. Quality is at the core of everything we do and full BRC approval (Scope -The microfixing of bulk butter and packing into retail units and catering portions) reflects this position. We are also accredited to ISO 9001:2008 (Scope – Butter Packing).

We produce Bandon Butter in 454gm and 227gm foil packs, and 454gm tubs for the retail consumer market. Our brand is available in many multiple and convenience stores.

We also pack and market Kerrygold butter, under franchise from Ornua, to the retail consumer channel in Ireland. Kerrygold is available in 454 and 227gm foil packs in every retail store in Ireland.

We are significant suppliers of butter to the Food Service Market. Bandon Mini Butter Portions in 7gm packs, are available throughout Ireland. We use a network of food service distributors, including Clona West Cork Foods to supply this channel, giving us National distribution.

Our experience and capability, has allowed us compete successfully, for many private label contracts to produce mini pack butter, not just for the Irish market, but for markets in the UK and Europe.
