Bandon Co-op Agri Feeds are delighted to announce the sponsorship of a new class in this year’s Bandon Show which takes place on Sunday May 22nd.
The new class has been created in the Beef Section and is called "The Bandon Co-op Cork County Super Commercial Young Heifer" and has substantial prize money for potential exhibitors.
In general, these super classes attract great interest from exhibitors and commercial breeders across the country in the few shows in Ireland that they are held in. It is for that reason that Bandon Show; Cattle Committee decided this year to install this new class in the Show.
Bandon Co-op are sponsoring this class and the prize money is as follows:
1st prize is €500, 2nd Prize is €350, 3rd Prize is €150 and 4th Prize is €50.
These prizes are highly attractive to Show Exhibitors and will be definite to bring Exhibitors and Breeders out from all over the country.
Already keen interest is being expressed in the class. We are expecting Exhibitors from Cork County, Limerick, Clare, the Midlands and other counties.
Bandon Co-op are delighted to be associated with the sponsorship of this new class and already have a very long association with Bandon Show. We have sponsored classes in the Dairy Section for years. However, this year for the first time, we are supporting the Beef Section of the Show to support the efforts of the Show to broaden the horizon of the Beef Section.
